I Listened Intently As A Young Man Opened His Heart And Emptied It Of The Broken Pieces Right In Front Of Me.....
No Father Figure.
No Role Model.
No Coach Or Male Teacher Had Taken An Interest In Him.
Nothing He Did At Work Was Good Enough.
Women Wouldn't Even Look His Direction.
He Was Done.
He Was Contemplating A Way To Exit This Cruel World!
Can I Be Honest/Vulnerable?
The Church Is Not Seeking After Men!
The Church Has Lost The Home, And Responded By Trying To Reach The Children, Teenagers, And Women......
I'm Not Against It.......But Men's Ministry Has Been Reduced To A Softball And Several Boxes Of Pizza.......
Maybe We've Lost The Whole Home Because We've Ignored The Head Of The House!
Many Claim Men Are Not Interested....
But, Maybe Church Isn't Interesting!
Maybe We've Unconsciously Constructed It To Exclude The Unique Perspective And The Ignored Needs Of A Man.
I Know We Assert We Are Following Scripture, But Jesus Selected And Invested In 12 Men....... Not Exclusively, But Primarily! Do You See Anyone Doing That?
